Tie Breakers

Two way tie breaker:

Two teams wins and loses are tied at the end of the regular season will be as follows:

• Head-to-head record
• Run differential in head-to-head games (Team A win 3-1 and Team B wins 5-1: Team B would win tie breaker being +2 run differential)
• Runs allowed - lower the number wins tie breaker

Three way tie breaker:

• Combined head-to-head record among the three tied teams
  • Example:
    • Team A: 3–1
    • Team B: 2–2
    • Team C: 1–3
    • Standings would be A, B, C.
• Run differential in games played only among the tied teams
  • This keeps the focus on how those teams performed against each other rather than against weaker teams in the league.
• Fewest runs allowed in those head-to-head games
• Overall run differential for the season (10 game max)
• Coin flip  if still tied: odd team wins
